Our encounters of light, as we decided to call them, because this is what they are:

These experiences are always guided by expert shamans, medicine men and women, from different Andean traditions and with whom we have already worked on many occasions and have full confidence in their knowledge, know-how, integrity and honesty.

What does this activity include?
- The experience guided and supported by the shaman and collaborators.
- The ancestral medicines that are administered. (If you want more detailed information about it, send us a contact request with your query and / or your doubts.)
- The staying. Normally the experience takes place during the night, so it takes one or several night stays.
- As that day it is recommendable to fast at least 4/5 hours before the celebration, some light food will be prepared to share in the group, especially after the experience. Also so do the attendees, who usually bring soft food to share (Vegetarian diet, juices and nuts can come in handy after the ceremony).
- Professional guidance and assistance for the further integration of the experience.
What can this experience do for you?
The benefits of medicinal or power plants are contrasted by numerous studies. Some benefits that can be obtained are the following, although in reality its benefits are very numerous:
- Greater clarity, awareness and understanding of the world around you.
- Release of mental patterns (programs and meta-programs), as well as limiting beliefs, including deep traumas.
- It helps to improve symptoms and even their disappearance, in addictions, depression resistant to other treatments and post-traumatic stress disorders (stress, anxiety, phobias and obsessions).

What does it consist of?
They are group meetings, face-to-face and with a therapeutic approach, based on shamanism, the Andean cosmovision and indigenous and ancestral wisdom, about the natural medicine of the Amazonian peoples.
This practice is actively guided by the shaman, who introduces us to this knowledge and administer the medicines, guiding and supporting each one in their personal processes of self discovery, healing and emotional liberation.
This process can be remarkedly different from one person to another. Every singular one experience is unique, personal and non-transferable. The most relevant is that each one takes the opportunity to be in its own experience and take what its own being has for itself.
It is pretty convenient, to integrate the experience and generate a space to understand and share what has inwardly happened during the event. What meaning we give to the experience? And how to integrate it and bring it to our daily lives.
That is why it is also recommendable to bring a purpose in our minds, and prepare ourselves the previous days for the inner work we want to approach.
As well as, doing a purification in terms of diet and personal care, before and after the experience to fully integrate it (3 to 4 days minimum). On the day of the ceremony, fasting or a light meal is recommended.
About our facilitators.
For more than 7 years we have worked with different shamans and taitas, all of them masters, true healers with very diverse characteristics and paths to this experience, which are power plants and deep and true shamanism, as a connection tool. internal, self-knowledge and healing.
Depending on the circumstances, especially the current ones, and the opportunities that arise, we can celebrate these activities with different facilitators. Right now we are very honored to work with:
Alejandro Vega: Chaman, medicine man with more than 10 years on the path of ancestral medicine. Working hand in hand with Taita Juan Jamioy, sharing remedies from the Amazon region in ceremonies held with up to 100 people in Bogotá (Colombia), under the direction and knowledge of the Kamëntsá Biya community from Valle de Sibundoy in Putumayo, Colombia.
Alejandro is a generous, dedicated, and engaged light worker for the medicine. Creator and director of the Pinta Yage Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing aid to the indigenous communities of Putumayo affected by the armed conflict in Colombia who are in a state of poverty and vulnerability.
Jenia Davila: facilitator, medicine woman and expert in transpersonal therapy and alternative healing, with more than 7 years of preparation and participation in shamanic ceremonies of different kinds. Founder of Abha, with a life journey of spiritual search. Especially the last thirteen years dedicated exclusively to the guidance, assistance and mentoring of other people on this path and on their healing and personal balance. Degree in Political Science and Sociology and expert in Psychotherapeutic Intervention, master in various techniques of energy and spiritual therapies (Reiki, Akashic Records, Ark Technique, Ho’oponopono, and a long etcetera). She has facilitated and promoted shamanic encounters and, assisted in numerous ceremonies to the shamans and Taitas from Latin America, in their travels through Europe. Requirements and recommendations:
♦♦ No experience or prerequisites are needed to carry out this activity. But, it is not recommended in the following cases: ♦♦
- People undergoing treatment with psychological or psychiatric drugs (better to consult previously).
- People with a psychiatric history, such as schizophrenia. In which case it should be avoided.
- People with heart disease, since increased blood pressure and heart rate may occur. They must take precautions and consult their particular case.
We recommend bringing:
– Very comfortable clothes, if you want white or light.
– Warm clothing.
– Some light food to share. (Although we also provide).
– Your willingness to open up in sharing and experimenting.
– If you wish you can bring your own mat, blanket and/or meditation cushion or similar.
THE PREPARATION:
- Avoid dairy and citrus fruits 1 day before the ceremony.
- Avoid having sexual intercourse (with oneself or another person) for at least 3 days beforehand.
- Do not consume alcoholic beverages or hallucinogenic drugs at least 3 days before.
- Have a clear purpose for working with medicine.
- If you are taking any medication, it is recommended to indicate it, since some drugs or herbs have an interaction and it is convenient to stop taking them for a time before and after the experience.
